Rural communities face various problems in their effort to improve the quality of life. One of them is the problem of inadequate income, due to the low income received from farming and the lack of other employment options.
This problem is caused by many factors. One of them is the problem of lack of business capital to increase income in some accessible economic business such as farming, handicraft weaving, production of agricultural equipment, culinary and service business.
Therefore JKF, with the help of donators started a microfinance program for residents in Ungga village. The goal is to increase production and marketing so that revenues can be increased. With increased income, people will be able to pay for their children's education or for other purposes.
So far, JKF has provided business capital assistance to 5 economic enterprises such as:
- Craft Weaving
- Agricultural Equipment
- Duck Farming
- Sewing Machine Equipment
With this program, it is expected that beneficiaries can increase their income and continue their business independently of outside assistance. We also hope that by 2018 more small entrepreneurs will be able to receive assistance so that the impact of JKF can spread to benefit more people in need.
