In January 2019, a typhoon blew the roof off this school. Jage Kastare Foundation in Lombok is collecting resources to construct the new roof and fix the dodgy structure of the school.
Located in a remote and isolated area in Lombok, this school was established in 2014 with the initiative from a local teacher named Pak Mahir. Pak Mahir built this school and managed to maintain the school's operation. There are currently 34 students and 3 teachers in this school. Each teacher is paid less than 30 US dollars a month. At the moment, the students study in emergency classrooms in villagers' houses.
Jage Kastare Foundation is a volunteer-based youth organisation in Lombok that is currently gathering resources to construct the roof and fix the risky structure of the school. The construction will start in two months time when we have collected enough money to kick off. Thank you very much for your help.
